GIF lacks full true color and efficient video compression, so it can be larger than the MP4. This tool limits clips to 30 seconds and uses a palette workflow for better color and size.

Use it for short tutorials and demonstrations. Keep MP4 or WebM for longer content or anything requiring audio; GIF never contains sound.
