Choosing MP4, WebM, or MOV
MP4 with H.264/AAC has the broadest compatibility. WebM with VP9/Opus suits modern browsers. MOV is common in Apple and editing workflows. Conversion re-encodes media and takes time.
FFmpeg.wasm ships a fixed codec set. Rare, DRM-protected, or damaged files may not decode; the UI keeps a useful error and suggests another format.
